The St. Louis Rams have been looking for someone to take ver the feature back role for a while now and it appears Jeff Fisher has found his man. While there could be some interest in someone like Chris Johnson should he be cut by the Titans, it’s starting to look like Zac Stacy will be as close to a feature back as possible for the Rams.

In fact, that notion is coming directly from Fisher, who stated that Stacy will receive about 70 percent of the Rams’ carries during the 2014 season.

The Rams have other backs on the roster who will get carries, but Stacy is already drawing comparisons to Chris Johnson and what he did in Fisher’s system back in Tennessee. It’s worth noting that Johnson went over 2,000 yards for Fisher and while that’s not the expectation for Stacy in 2014, it’s clearly something that could happen if the Rams offense opens up this year.
