Next to Jadeveon Clowney, Auburn’s Dee Ford is one of the more coveted defensive linemen in the 2014 NFL Draft. After Clowney is taking off the board, Ford will be next in line as the great pass rusher off the edge, and in preparations of finding his future NFL home, he’s told NFL.com that he has visits scheduled with the Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"I have the Colts scheduled. I have Tampa Bay scheduled. I’ve already had a private workout with the Patriots. Other than that, I have a lot of teams interested. I think the Senior Bowl gave teams all they needed to see. The next step will be these private workouts once these pro days start to narrow down."

It’s highly unlikely that the Bucs would take Ford in the top 10 with their pick, so that could leave him open to joining the Colts later in the first round, if they are impressed enough with what they see in this workout. Should that not be the case then, Tampa in the second round seems like something too good for a defensive-oriented coach like Lovie Smith to pass up.
