While the St. Louis Rams have not completely given up hope that Sam Bradford can remain healthy and be the franchise quarterback they had hoped, that doesn’t mean that it hurts to seek a back up plan just in case it doesn’t work out that way, that’s why it’s no surprise that they have set up a private workout with Fresno State’s Derek Carr.

"“Derek Carr, I’m told, has individual workouts setup with the Titans, the Cleveland Browns, the Oakland Raiders, Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams.”"

Recently, the Rams were said to have been making a possible run at some of the free-agents that were available, Mark Sanchez in particular. However, with Sanchez set to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles, it appears that ship has sailed, meaning that if they do want to grab another signal caller, it’ll be in May.

Carr could fall to them in the second round, although with the way his stock has been rising as of late, that might be cutting it a bit close.

But there’s no doubt that Jeff Fisher would love to take this young man under his wing.
