While not everyone in the NFL needs a quarterback in the draft, just about everyone ended up attending the hottest college Pro Day we’ve seen in sometime. Despite not being the best prospect in the draft — as that seems to be either Jadeveon Clowney or Khalil Mack — Johnny Manziel attracted the attention of 30 NFL teams on Thursday.

He would have had a sold out show had it not been for the Chicago Bears or the Cleveland Browns. Despite being on two violently different ends of the quarterback spectrum, both teams took a pass on the festivities at College Station.

To the Bears credit, they neither have a need for Manziel nor believe they’ll ever get a chance at drafting him so they’re not wasting their time. For the Browns, they have the fourth overall pick in the draft and a glaring need at quarterback.

Cleveland is expected to hold a private workout with Manziel though, which means skipping his Pro Day only looks bad in the short term.
