In a completely unsurprising move, UCLA Bruins sharpshooter and first-round drag projection Zach LaVine is declaring for the NBA Draft and will be entering the NBA this summer. The Bruins run t the Sweet Sixteen ended before they could exit the round as they were downed by No. 1 seed Florida on Thursday night.

With the loss, so too ended LaVine’s career at UCLA as he will be entering the draft as one of the hotter prospects to keep an eye on.

Per the Long Beach Press-Telegram:

"UCLA freshman Zach LaVine is officially one-and-done.The 6-foot-5 guard will forgo his remaining eligibility and enter the NBA draft, his father Paul told the Los Angeles Daily News."

In our FanSided NBA Mock Draft, LaVine is currently projected as being drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the first pick outside of the Lottery, but he could very well creep up above that projection before June rolls around. His shooting skills are coveted in the NBA but there are still questions about him that prevent him from being a lottery lock at the moment.

Still, LaVine’s career at UCLA has paved the way for potential early strides in the NBA and if he lands with a team like the Wolves who need shooting guard help, he may flourish after than we expect.
