There was a report earlier today that the Houston Texans were looking to trade the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 Draft. The report also suggested that the Buffalo Bills could be the trade partner they’re looking for.

“Word from the NFL meetings is the Texans are trying hard to deal the first pick in the draft,” Bleacher Report’s Dan Pompei writes. “They want to move down and acquire extra selections. Sources say they might have a trade partner in the Bills, who appear interested in moving up.”

According to the Houston Chronicle’s John McClain, the Texans won’t trade down to the No. 9 pick the Bills own.

That is a long ways to drop down, there are a group of teams from No. 3 to No. 6 who could be interested in trading down with the Texans. The Bills would probably have to over pay to get that No. 1 draft pick.
