Friday morning, the Philadelphia Eagles decided to part ways with unquestionably their best offensive weapon, wide receiver DeSean Jackson, amid reports that he has gang ties to some individuals that he grew up with in California. Of course, since then, a lot of judgement has been cast in his way, but he does have some supporters.

One of those supporters just happens to be someone he grew up with, ironically, and he also happens to be maybe the best at his position in the NFL right now, Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman.

Saturday, Sherman tweeted out this picture in support of his friend. It’s a photo of the two together on the same Little League team back in the day, and Sherman left a little message for everyone to see.

That should give some people a little different perspective of the whole situation. Or maybe it won’t, but still, Sherman has a point–once again.
