Seahawks RB Christine Michael taking teen with autism to her high school prom

Former Texas A&M Aggies running back and Seattle Seahawks’ Christine Michael is making a high school autistic teenager’s dream come true. Michael is taking autistic teenager Taylor Kirkwood to her high school prom.

Her mother, Stacie Holmes, was the one who made it happen.

"Turns out, Holmes’ cousin went to West Brook High School in Beaumont with Michael, who’s now a running back for the Super Bowl champions. They were good friends and when Michael told them he would take Taylor to prom, to say she was excited is an understatement."

“I was just like we’ll see what happens,” her mother said.  “I know he’s busy and I wasn’t sure if he could.”

But Michael did say yes. Taylor could he hoping for a little more than a date.

“Are you going to kiss him?” her mother teased.

“Yes,” Taylor responded immediately.
