There has been a lot of speculation lately about which direction the Houston Texans will go when the 2014 NFL Draft arrives and they are up first with the number one overall pick. With renowned QB guru Bill O’Brien taking over as head coach, most people expect that Houston will take their new franchise quarterback by selecting either Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles or Teddy Bridgewater.

Well, we got a step closer to finding out what the team will do, and then some, as O’Brien recently confirmed that the team will be drafting a QB this May–maybe even two of them.

Well, now this certainly escalated quickly as it seems that O’Brien is looking to go all out in his search for the quarterback that will run his team.

After trading Matt Schaub recently, they brought in veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick to compete with Case Keenum and T.J. Yates.

This summer, though, it looks like the fight to become the starting quarterback of the Houston Texans could be an amazing five-man race, with two rookies involved.
