The DeSean Jackson saga has managed to whip up plenty of action in the rumor mill over the short period of time. We’ve seen teams get in line for Jackson and teams step back but it appears that a couple of teams have stepped back in line for Jackson despite pulling out of the running earlier.

According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, the Panthers and Jets are back in on Jackson and are expected to be involved in talks with him over the next few days.

The Jets had previously pulled out of the running as had the Panthers but since no one officially ended their pursuit of Jackson, no one was officially out.

How involved the Panthers or Jets will be is yet to be seen but it’s clear that they have some interest in Jackson still and until he signs elsewhere, both will be landing spots for the wide receiver.
