While it might not be as extravagant as what we saw last week from Johnny Manziel and his group, Jadeveon Clowney will take to the field in front of NFL scouts in his Pro Day, but the team with the number one overall pick, the Houston Texans, will be sending more than just scouts and coaches to the event.

According to South Carolina beat writer Josh Kendall, the Texans will be represented by an entourage that will also include team owner Bob McNair.

With the 2014 NFL Draft just a little over a month away, it’s coming down to crunch time for the Texans to decide what they want to do with that top overall pick, and an outstanding performance from Clowney on Wednesday could solidify him as the new face of the Texans franchise.

Recently, head coach Bill O’Brien has stated that the team will definitely draft a quarterback–maybe even two–but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it has to be with that first pick.
