The Cincinnati Bengals are hoping they’re waking up to a April Fool’s Day joke gone wrong, but unfortunately, that doesn’t appear to be the case as fullback Orson Charles was arrested on Monday night and is being charged with wanton endangerment-first degree, according to TMZ Sports.

"Cincinnati Bengals fullback Orson Charles was arrested in Kentucky late Monday night … after cops say he had an extreme case of road rage … involving a GUN … TMZ Sports has learned."

If the name sounds familiar, that’s likely because you watched Charles on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’ series which featured the Cincinnati Bengals training camp before the 2013 season.

TMZ says that Charles became unhappy from a ‘road rage’ incident and then ‘brandished a firearm on the Interstate during a road rage incident on I-75’, according to a law enforcement source.

Thankfully cooler heads prevailed and nobody was injured or harm, but clearly not an incident the Bengals are going to be thrilled with.

We’ll continue to monitor the arrest and updated if any new information comes out.
