While he might not have as much of a focus on him as a lot of the other quarterbacks in the draft class do, Alabama’s AJ McCarron has been a bit of a wild card as of late. For whatever varying reasons, he’s been steadily rising up teams’ draft boards, although some scouts believe that the best landing spot for him could be the Arizona Cardinals.

It’s been noted by most that McCarron needs a place to go where he can develop and grow, as opposed to play immediately, and with Carson Palmer running the show in Arizona at this point, this move makes a ton of sense from that perspective.

And should the offense stick together, McCarron will have a talented group around him when it’s his turn to take over, which includes maybe the best wide receiver in the game, Larry Fitzgerald.

McCarron will land with a team in the draft, the question at this point, really, is just in what round?
