Late Tuesday night, free-agent wide receiver DeSean Jackson was scheduled to leave Washington after a lengthy visit with the Redskins. However, when it was time for him to board his plane, he wasn’t on it, and about an hour later it was announced that he and the team had come to terms on a three-year deal.
On Wednesday, the team made the signing official by showing Jackson sign his name on the dotted line.

Now, it’s time to get to work for Jackson and the Redskins as he has now, more or less, become the savior for a Redskins offense that left everyone rather disappointed in 2013, following what was an incredible run in 2012.
This offense is completely loaded with weapons that include a healthy RGIII, Pierre Garcon, Santana Moss–and now Jackson, so the expectations are going to be through the roof.
Whether or not those expectations will be met, remains to be seen.
