The Houston Texans are still trying to decide what to do with their No. 1 overall draft pick, select a quarterback or take the best player available South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney? It seems like Houston is leaning towards quarterbacks according to various reporters, but they were at Clowney’s Pro Day and put him through some tests.

From NFL.com:

"The Texans had Clowney work in space while testing his ability to drop in coverage Wednesday, per Rapoport. If they decide to bypass a quarterback, it will be because Clowney has them convinced he can play the same hybrid outside linebacker-defensive end role that former Patriots star Willie McGinest mastered en route to a trio of Lombardi trophies."

Would that be enough for the Texans to select Clowney over a quarterback? Maybe, with J.J. Watt it isn’t a pressing need, but Clowney opposite of Watt would be a formidable defensive front.
