Dallas Cowboys have no interest in signing Chris Johnson
The Tennessee Titans made the release of Chris Johnson official earlier on Friday after weeks of speculation that he would not be with the team in 2014, and now the focus shifts to where the former 2,000-yard rusher will call home in 2014.
We can scratch the Dallas Cowboys off the list as Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports the team has no interest in the former first round pick out of East Carolina.
The Cowboys have DeMarco Murray in the backfield and little in the way of salary cap space so despite earlier reports linking the team to Johnson, there appears to be no chance of him headed to Dallas.
The New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins appear like the front-runners to land Johnson after attempting to trade for him prior to his release.
