The San Antonio Spurs have made their name off of being a bunch of humble guys who don’t fight, don’t get into trouble off the court and just win while they’re on it. The Oklahoma City Thunder are more of a mixed bag and while they stay out of trouble off the court, they very much are capable of starting stuff on the court.

That’s what you get for having Kendrick Perkins on your team though, and the two clashing styles of basketball met last night in an incident that almost turned ugly but didn’t.

Late in the game, Kendrick Perkins very clearly wanted to start something with Tim Duncan, who would not give in. Rather than fight Perkins for groping him and then shoving I’m when he didn’t kiss hims t the end of the night, Duncan just laughed him off.

And that right there is why the Spurs have been able to do what they do for so long and why Duncan remains of the only players in the NBA that no one can hate — well, expect for Kendrick Perkins.
