Coming out of the 2013 college football season, there were a lot of people wondering why the most prolific wide receiver of the entire season, Oregon State’s Brandin Cooks, wasn’t getting a lot of hype as a top receiver in the NFL Draft group. However, after some eye-opening performances in workouts, he’s risen near the top, and now you can add the Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks to the list of teams interested.

According to NFL.com, Cooks has visits set up with both teams coming up, in addition to the one he already has with the New York Jets.

Both places make sense for the former Beavers wideout.

After this offseason, the Panthers desperately need help at the wide receive position for Cam Newton, and drafting Cooks would be a great place to start that process.

The Seahawks lost one of their main go-to guys this offseason when Golden Tate signed with the Detroit Lions, and Cooks would certainly be a welcome replacement for Russell Wilson and company.

Nonetheless, it’s great to see the most dynamic pass-catching threat from last season getting the hype that he’s earned.
