After a brief stop in Dallas to soak in some Final Four action, former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel will be hopping on a plane and flying to the West Coast where he will meet with the Oakland Raiders tonight and tomorrow.

Adam Schefter of ESPN announced the news on Sunday morning.

Just a few weeks ago the Raiders would have been in the mix for Manziel, but after trading with the Houston Texans to acquire veteran Matt Schaub the team is not expected to select a quarterback.

If the Raiders end up falling in love with Manziel, then maybe they would still make him the pick, but the most likely scenario is that they are just gauging the signal-caller’s value to determine what they could get in return if they trade back in the first-round with someone looking to jump up and snag Manziel.
