Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is coming off surgery for a herniated disc. That has some concerned about his future and the decision to let reliable back up Ben Tate leave in free agency, though Tate wasn’t willing to hang around to be a back up. Foster is reassuring everyone that he will be good to go come this season.

“I can tell you the surgery wasn’t as major as it sounded,” said Foster in an interview with Bleacher Report. “That’s why I rebounded so quickly. I also worked my ass off. I’m expecting to do bigger things and bounce back.”

Foster also went on to say that the Texans “expect to win” as they head into a new era with some question marks around the roster. He was already being force fed the ball with Matt Schaub at quarterback, and with the quarterback situation up in the air and Ben Tate out of town Foster could continue to be force fed the ball.
