Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr’s draft stock is back on the rise in recent weeks and it is because he owns a valuable experience that the other top quarterbacks in the 2014 NFL Draft class lack.

Unlike Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles and Jimmy Garoppolo, Carr has experience in a pro-style offense from his time with the Bulldogs.

Ashley Fox of ESPN.com believes that his experience in a pro-style offense is one of the big reasons that Carr is beginning to once again jump in to the top ten discussion for May’s draft.

Carr has also been impressive during his college all-star games and throughout interviews during the pre-draft process, so he is doing all of the right things to ensure that he is able to maximize his draft stock and become one of the top quarterbacks off of the board.

If he can continue to impress the scouts and NFL teams leading up to the draft, Carr will almost certainly hear his name called early in Day 1.
