Rapper Drake has been getting some heat for his “fair weather fandom,” including his most recent support of the Kentucky Wildcats during their run to the National Championship game. Those fair-weather fandom critics went nuts when they saw a picture of Drake on Richard Hamilton’s Instagram account.

It shows him from the night of the National Championship game, when Hamilton’s UConn beat the Wildcats, posing in a shirt that looked like it had a U on the front.

Drake looked to set the record straight on ESPN’s NBA Countdown, clarifying that the photo was taken before the game and not after. The logo isn’t even a UConn “U” but the logo of Kentucky freshman James Young.
