With the departure of Maurice Jones-Drew during the free agency period, the Jacksonville Jaguars now have some room in the backfield. some room which they could look to the NFL Draft next month to fill. They’ll explore that option a little more on Thursday as they host LSU Tigers product, Jeremy Hill.

Hill doesn’t bring the same dynamic that Jones-Drew did to the running game, but he still could be a very viable asset as Gus Bradley continues to try and rise the franchise out of obscurity.
Some have Hill projected as a second-rounder, and he could very well be available when the team comes up early on that Friday. It’s still not known in which direction they will go with their early first-round selection, as they could be either a quarterback or offensive line at this point.
No matter which way they go with that first pick, however, Hill would complement both tremendously, and is definitely an option that should be given the extra look.
