When Nike took over as the official uniform supplier of the NFL, prices of team jerseys raised and fans were not very happy. The cheapest jersey would cost $100 with the most expensive jersey being priced at $250, and now Nike has decided to raise their jersey prices for the 2014 season.

While the cheapest jersey will remain at $100, the authentic jerseys that carried the top price tag will be raised by nearly 20 percent.

According to Darren Rovell of ESPN, the Limited jersey will go from $135 to $150 while the Elite jersey, which is as close as fans can get to wearing the jerseys players wear on the field, will jump from $250 to $295.

It is important to note that Nike executives made the decision to raise the prices and the league was not involved.
