The Detroit Lions offense is going to look different with a new coaching staff including offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi. His offense is somewhat familiar to Reggie Bush from their time with the New Orleans Saints, and it might mean a reduced workload for Bush as he tries to strike a balance.

“We had a pretty good rotation going last (season), so, you know, we did some pretty special things with that,” Bush said, via Michael Rothstein of ESPN. “It can only go up from there, even if the workload is less for both of us, that’s only going to help us toward the end of the season, help us to stay healthy and probably play a little bit stronger and better toward the end of the season.”

A veteran answer from Bush who might not actually be thrilled about a lower workload. The Lions do need him to stay healthy and avoid the dings that he suffered.
