The career of guard Nik Stauskas at Michigan is seemingly over as the Wolverines star is set to enter the NBA Draft this June. Underclassmen have until April 15th to declare for the NBA Draft and it’s believed by ESPN’s Jeff Goodman that Stauskas will be entering the draft despite the fact the hard has openly denied it on Twitter.

Per ESPN.com:

"Michigan sophomore Nik Stauskas is headed to the NBA, a source close to the situation told ESPN.com on Thursday. The source said the 6-foot-6, 205-pound shooting guard intends to make a public announcement soon. Stauskas told ESPN.com on Thursday that he has not yet made a final decision."

Stauskas is projected as a lottery pick should he enter the draft, as his final season at Michigan this past year was one that raised a lot of eyebrows and caught plenty of attention. As an athletic guard who can score, Stauskas has unique skills that NBA teams covet and his draft status reflects that.

Of course, he’ll need to officially declare for the draft before anyone gets too excited but it’s believed that will happen before the deadline passes.
