Earlier on Thursday, it was reported that former Florida State wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin had blown off a workout recently with an NFL scout, citing that he was “too tired” to have at it, according to NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt.

Now Brandt has revealed that Benjamin’s agent is denying that the whole incident ever happened, although the veteran NFL scout doesn’t seem to be buying it.

One thing is for sure: If Benjamin did indeed blow off the scheduled session using such a reason as he’s reported to have used, then there is a chance that his stock could take a major hit.

Just earlier this week, there was word going around that scouts have been growing concerned with Benjamin’s weight. They’re not so much worried about it right now, rather they’re worried about what could happen if he possibly puts more on down the road.

If you now factor a work ethic issue in to that, Benjamin has himself a dangerous mix.
