The Pittsburgh Steelers could certainly use some help for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger at the wide receiver position, and they have expressed some interest in addressing this next month in the NFL Draft. Recently, they explored this possibility a little bit more as they had dinner with highly touted LSU prospect, Odell Beckham Jr, according to NFL.com.

Beckham has been slowly rising up the draft boards of many teams lately, and he helped himself on Wednesday with another great performance at the LSU Pro Day. He stood on his great numbers from the NFL Combine, and he obviously drew even more attention from the Steelers brass, enough to sit down and talk some more off the football field.

While the Steelers have some viable options at the wideout position, they don’t necessarily have a game breaker, and that’s what many consider Beckham to be. He could bring some new dynamics to the Steelers offense, as well as in the special teams game even, an area in which he also stood out during his time at LSU.

With the way Beckham has been impressing people, it wouldn’t be a shock to see the Steelers take a chance on him with that 15th overall pick they possess.
