On Wednesday, a report surfaced that former Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron and his fiancee Katherine Webb could be the stars of a reality series that focuses on their engagement and wedding later this year.

The news was met with mixed reactions and caused some to raise their level of concern about McCarron’s ability to focus on football during the wedding planning that would be filmed, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter swooped in on Thursday morning to save the day.

According to Schefter, the reality series would focus on Webb and McCarron wouldn’t have a big role in the series that would apparently only last one episode — which is likely as long as it would have lasted regardless before being canceled.

Phew.

Now we can all stop discussing the ridiculous reality series and get our attention back to A.J. McCarron, the football player.
