The NFL Draft is just around the corner and with the No. 2 pick currently in their possession, the St. Louis Rams are looking at all of their options moving forward. While trading the pick is still a very areal and possibly the most likely outcome, it would appear the Rams are leaving no stone unturned and will be meeting with South Carolina prospect Jadeveon Clowney.

It has been speculated that the Rams could take Clowney with the No. 2 pick but it seems unlikely given their defensive makeup. Still, many believe that Clowney is a once in a generation type of player and wrath taking no matter what.

For the Rams, trading the pick may again result in a Robert Griffin III situation where they are able to come out ahead in the long run, but drafting Clowney is an appealing idea and St. Louis is at least doing their due diligence when it comes to finding out what they’d be passing on if they trade the pick.
