We are still a few weeks away from the 2014 NFL Draft, but one of the top prospects in the class has decided to shut it down and let his film do the talking for the remainder of the time leading up to May’s draft.

South Carolina star Jadeveon Clowney, who is in contention to be the No. 1 pick in the draft, has decided that he will be making no more private visits during the process.

The news surfaced in the latest column by Peter King of TheMMQB.com.

Clowney has nothing left to prove in the draft process and the only thing that could affect his stock would be a serious injury, like that which was suffered by Clemson guard Brandon Thomas during a private workout with the Saints.

We will now have to wait until draft day to see where Clowney will be selected, but we wouldn’t imagine he makes it out of the top five. In our latest two-round mock draft, Clowney doesn’t even make it out of the top three.
