The Detroit Lions pick 10th in the NFL Draft this May but they seem to have eyes set on the top prospects in the class. While Sammy Watkins remains a top choice for the Lions, it appears that Jadeveon Clowney has piqued their interest as well and they’ll be calling him in for a workout this week.

It’s interesting to note that the Lions are working out Clonwey given that they’re rumored to be looking at moving up. We don’t know what the Lions plan on doing when the draft rolls around, as trading down has been something brought up as well when it comes to their draft plans.

Clowney will for sure be gone by the time the Lions go on the clock though, so if they’re serious about getting him they’ll definitely have to move up to get him. They may just be doing their due diligence, but the fact that the Lions are meeting with the top prospect int he draft shouldn’t go unnoticed or undiscussed.
