The Carolina Panthers are looking at ways they can fix their boneheaded moves this offseason and replenish the wide receiver pool they drained rather inexplicably. When they purged their roster of basically every single weapon quarterback Cam Newton had in 2013, almost everyone believed they were going to look at the draft to fill their needs and so far that’s been the case.

While the draft isn’t until May, the Panthers are working out some of the top prospects at wide receiver and have recently brought in LSU wide outs Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham.

Both Landry and Beckham are generating a considerable amount of hype for themselves but with the Panthers the interest is perhaps more dire than any other case. There’s a chance they could draft both receivers but at this point the Panthers would draft Red Lightning if it meant getting a body on roster at wide receiver.
