With a few weeks until the 2014 NFL Draft, teams are beginning to bring in players for their final draft visits as they look to finalize their draft boards and prepare for what could be ahead on draft day.

For the New York Jets, one of their main goals will be to add weapons on the offensive side of the ball and Texas Tech tight end Jace Amaro is reportedly receiving consideration.

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, Amaro is on the team’s “short list.”

If the Jets are considering Amaro in the first-round, one would have to believe that their ideal scenario would be Eric Ebron sliding out of the top half of the first-round. Unfortunately for New York, that is highly unlikely so they will need to focus on a Plan B.
