Seahawks interested in re-signing Sidney Rice on a low-cost, short-term deal

Doctors have cleared Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Sidney Rice for football activities, Rice has been recovering from a torn ACL suffered last season. According to a report from Pro Football Talk, there are a few teams that are interested in Rice to “some degree.”

Panthers beat writer Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer verified PFT’s report that the Panthers would be interested, but adding that their interest was only at the right price when answering a fan’s question.

Now we have a report from the Everett Herald that the Seahawks, like the Panthers, are interested but only in a low-cost, short-term deal.
