While New york Jets fans wait on further word about the possibility of signing running back Chris Johnson, some positive news of a different kinds is starting to trickle in. While the team signed Eric Decker and Jacoby Ford over the offseason, there is still the very high likelihood that a wide receiver is drafted by the Jets int he first round and that could end up being LSU speedster Odell Beckham.

According to Manish Mehta from the New York Daily News, the Jets will be visiting with Beckham at some point next week.

If Johnson is signed and the Jets go ahead and draft Beckham int he first-round, all of a sudden their offense just got incredibly dangerous. Given how bad the unit has been in the recent past, making it explosive with tons of targets seems to be the best way to go.
