With cloud of legal uncertainty surrounding Ray Rice–also the age factor as well–it should not come as a huge shock that the Baltimore Ravens could be in the market for a running back when the NFL Draft rolls around next month. And while we live in an NFL Draft world where private workouts matter a lot, the Ravens seem to be interested in someone that they haven’t even had a first-hand look at, Boston College’s Heisman finalist Andre Williams.

Williams lit the world on fire last season for the Eagles in the ACC as he rushed for over 2,000 yards and helped lead the team to a bowl berth.

He did have a decent workout at the Combine, but if there is any concern with NFL teams it’s how much of the load he did carry for Boston College the last few years. But if Rice does return to the Ravens this season, then durability shouldn’t be an issue as Williams will have ample time to rest.
