Earlier in the week veteran quarterback Carson Palmer discussed the possibility that the Arizona Cardinals could be selecting their future at the position in this year’s draft, and according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network that could be coming with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

With the current buzz surrounding the quarterbacks in this year’s draft, it is very possible that a premium signal-caller could be available when the team is on the clock.

There has been some discussion that Teddy Bridgewater, Blake Bortles or Johnny Manziel could slide to the bottom half of the round, which would present an intriguing decision for the Cardinals to make.

Palmer isn’t getting younger and the team is getting better, so they may be wise to pull the trigger and add a player that could end up being their quarterback of the future that they will be able to continue to grow with.
