NFL Draft rumors: Minnesota Vikings to choose between Bridgewater, Wenning, Renner or Savage?
By Jack Crosby
As the Mike Zimmer era gets set to begin for the Minnesota Vikings, it’s been rumored that he may address the quarterback situation in the NFL Draft next month. If he is going to, it appears that he may have his choices narrowed down to four potential candidates.
According to Albert Breer, as part of the pre-draft process, the team has only brought in Teddy Bridgewater, Tom Savage, Keith Wenning and Bryn Renner in for visits.
All four of these signal callers fit the mold of the traditional pro-style offense that Zimmer will likely run in Minnesota, but it seems that it if the team is trying to make a final decision on one of these four, it all depends where they plan on taking a quarterback.
Both Bridgewater and Savage are considered potential first or second round selections, while Renner and Wenning would go much later in the event, possibly beginning late in the third round and carrying over into the fourth and beyond.
