The Detroit Lions continue to bring in players they have absolutely no chance of drafting at No. 10 overall which continues to fuel rumors that they are moving up in the order. While it’s unclear how high the Lions are willing to trade up, it’s very apparent that they’re really considering it or really don’t know how NFL Draft projections work.

According to Lions beat writer Dave Birkett, Detroit is bringing in possible N0. 1 overall pick Khalil Mack for a visit next week.

This is an interesting move as there’s not a whole lot of consensus on where Mack will go, so it’s impossible to pin point an exact slot to trade into if you want to get him. But that may be why the Lions are spreading around their visits with top picks as the more top options they have, the better they can feel about trading up.

With Sammy Watkins and Jadeveon Clowney already on their radar, adding Mack means the Lions could trade as high as the No. 3 pick and still walk away with someone they clearly covet.
