The San Francisco 49ers learned that quarterback Colin Kaepernick was involved in what was described as a “suspicious incident” in a Miami hotel room that involved a naked woman who blacked out after she claims she was doing shots and smoking marijuana with Kaepernick and two other NFL players.

However, the latest development shows that Miami police do not believe Kaepernick was in the room when police responded to the 911 calls.

From the Sacramento Bee:

"Miami police do not believe 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was present when they responded to two 911 calls about an upset naked woman refusing to leave a downtown Miami hotel room. But they are waiting for the Viceroy Hotel to turn over additional surveillance tape to see if they can determine whether Kaepernick had been in the suite earlier with two other players and, if so, what time he left."

The other players who were involved in the incident are  49ers wide receiver Quinton Patton and Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette.

Kaepernick has claimed that he did nothing wrong, so we will have to wait for the investigation to continue and gather all of the facts before learning exactly what happened on that night and if anyone is guilty of a crime.
