After dominating the first half in nearly every way possible, the Oklahoma City Thunder find themselves in a game in the fourth quarter of game 1 of their first round playoff matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies used a dominating third quarter in which they outscored the Thunder 31-13 to cut a 22-point first half deficit to four heading into the fourth quarter. The Grizzlies cut the lead down to three when Caron Butler made the most explosive play he’s made in some time.

Butler gets the ball and lines up for a corner three. As he goes to shoot, Grizzlies’ guard Courtney Lee tries to close on him. As Lee jumps, Butler dribbles around Lee and finishes with a huge dunk that caused him to hit the ground.

Including Butler’s dunk, the Thunder went on a 15-4 run to take back control of the game mid-way through the fourth quarter.

Butler was acquired by the Thunder after the Milwaukee Bucks decided to buy him out. He averaged 9.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 steals per game in 22 games with the Thunder.
