The New York Jets are looking at what they can do for when they go on the clock this may and that has them considering a number of options. While the team is eyeing wide receivers like Odell Beckham, Mike Evans and Marqise Lee, there’s a growing chance that they use their pick on a defensive player and that has been supported by the fact that both Darqueze Dennard and Jason Verrett will be visiting with the team this week.
Jets will bookend week with a pair of interesting CB visits: TCU’s Jason Verrett tomorrow. Michigan State’s Darqueze Dennard on Friday #nyj

Both cornerbacks are expected to be top picks at their position and both may very well end up being first-round picks. Dennard is considered to be perhaps the best cornerback in the class while Verrett already has eyes set on the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
New York needs to fill holes everywhere and while receiver remains a very real option in the first-round, taking some defense to help balance the attack in 2014 may not be the worst idea ever.
