The 2014 NFL Draft is just around the corner, and there has been plenty of discussion about the top quarterbacks in the draft. While the St. Louis Rams have not been considered a potential destination for the top signal-callers in this year’s draft class, they could be looking for one in the middle rounds of the draft.

“I don’t think there’s any question the Rams are taking a quarterback,” said former  Dallas Cowboys VP of player personnel and current NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt. “(General manager) Les Snead has been around looking at those guys.”

St. Louis has been meeting with some of the quarterback prospects who are currently pegged as mid-round picks, so there is a real possibility that the Rams could bring in someone that they can groom.

Not only would the quarterback be someone who the Rams could groom, but they could eventually be the successor for Sam Bradford if he is unable to fully recover from his torn ACL and take his play to the next level.
