We currently know the preseason schedule for all 32 teams in the National Football League, but the regular season schedule for the 2014-15 regular season has yet to be announced.

That should all change later this week.

According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, the NFL has adjusted their target date of Tuesday for the NFL schedule release to either Wednesday or Thursday of this week.

Florio suggests that the NFL is delaying the release to steal some of the buzz away from the NHL and NBA postseason, where teams will be able to advance to the next round of the playoffs.

The NFL always enjoys being the top dog and stealing the spotlight, so that would certainly make sense.

Until then, we will have to patiently wait and see when the league decides they will officially unveil the full regular season schedule of 256 games.
