NBA Draft Rumors: Harrison twins genuinely torn about returning to Kentucky in 2014
By Josh Hill
The future of both Andrew and Aaron Harrison at Kentucky doesn’t seem to have been made up yet but the time for an official decision is quickly approaching. With the deadline to declare for the draft approaching, we will likely hear word on what the Harrison twins are going to do in 2014 sooner rather than later.
According to Adam Himmelsbach of The Louisville Courier-Journal, the decision isn’t as easy as it’s been reported by some, as the twins re ‘genuinely torn’ about entering the NBA Draft and starting their pro careers or returning to Kentucky for their sophomore seasons thus shocking the entire world.
It’s no secret that Kentucky is known for its one-and-done players and the Harrison twins looked to be leaders of that pack. But they had so-so freshman seasons that hurt their draft stock, something that is a motivating factor to come back. There’s also the fact that they have unfinished business in March Madness and could make a tun at a title in 2014 should they return.
Let’s not skate over the fact that the late-round draft value they have could become lottery-worthy if they bounce back and show improvement in their sophomore seasons.
It’s not an easy decision and neither of the Harrison twins has yet made one on their basketball future, but we can likely expect one soon.
