San Francisco 49ers complete installation of Levi’s Field grass (Photo)

In just a few months, the San Francisco 49ers will open play at Levi’s Stadium, leaving decades of memories (and winning teams) behind at Candlestick Park.
There is still minor construction going on at the venue, but as of today, the field has been completely installed after a few long days of work during this past weekend.
The 49ers tweeted out a photo of the newly installed grass.
We’ve seen looks inside the stadium prior to this, but none of them had the lush green turf obviously and the massive mound of compacted dirt just didn’t do the venue justice.
It’s certainly a bit unique in comparison to some of the other new stadiums as it’s heavily stocked with luxury suites on one side and features complete team colors throughout the seating area though seemingly gives off a simplistic look at the same time.
Of n0te – who’s going to be the one who informs the ground crew they forgot to put up the final goal post pieces?
