After trailing for a majority of the first half in their game 2 matchup with the Atlanta Hawks, the Indiana Pacers finally regained the lead in the third quarter, outscoring the Hawks 31-13 in the third to turn a 52-48 deficit into a 79-65 lead entering the fourth quarter.

Pacers’ guard Lanrd Lance Stephenson was perhaps one of the biggest reason for the third quarter turnaround, taking control of the game and getting to the rim off of the dribble, creating for both himself and his teammates.

While he was playing well in the third quarter, Pacers’ head coach Frank Vogel decided to sub Stephenson out of the game in an apparent effort to get him extra case in case they have to play a competitive fourth quarter.

Stephenson was clearly not very happy about being removed from the game at such a key time and Hardwood Parxoysm’s Matt Moore caught it.

Stephenson has seven points, five assists and three rebounds.
