The NFL schedule for the 2014 season is set to come out later tonight but games and information will be leaking throughout the day. Adam Schefter, who may or may not be a little miffed that ESPN isn’t hosting the official schedule release show, has revealed some of the first information about the schedule so far.
According to Schefter, the Indianapolis Colts have the easiest schedule in the 2014 season, a good omen for how far they’ll make it.
Colts have easiest schedule (opponents a combined 110-146). Last 2 teams with “easiest” sked, 2012 Pats and 2013 Broncos, reached Conf Champ

Obviously, they have the easiest conditional schedule as all of the teams they play could go on to have incredible seasons that end up making them difficult opponents but the chances of that happening aren’t all that high.
A few teams may go on to rebound, but it helps that four of the Colts 16 games are against the Titans and Jaguars, so that right there is a win in of itself. The Colts seem to be going places fast, and if Andrew Luck and his Colts have the NFL’s easiest schedule, they could be inline for their best season yet.
