The Utah Jazz are one of four teams looking for a head coach this offseason and while there seems to be a depressed market when it comes to big names, the Jazz are digging deep and going their homework before making another coaching hire.

According to Jazz beat writer Jody Genessy, the team is considering as many as 20 candidates to replace Ty Corbin as the head coach next season.

The list of names wasn’t given but it’s safe to say that if 20 names are already on the list, George Karl, Lionel Hollins and other are on there as well as some names we haven’t heard much of yet. It was rumored the other day that Utah was looking at the foreign coaching market for a new leader, which may be a brilliant outside-the-box idea.

It’s clear that with only three other teams searching for a head coach, one of which has laser focus on Steve Kerr which lowers the technical number to just two, Utah is in no rush to make a hire. They though Ty Corbin was their man and he failed them, so the team is clearly doing it’s due diligence and leaving no stone unturned.
